Tackle Reading Day: Events Being Held Across the Country  Supported by the NFL, NFL Alumni Association, and WNFC Promote a love for literacy with a passion for football by connecting NFL Players and Alumni to elementary classrooms across the country! Join the NFL teams and NFL Legends for our 6th annual Tackle Reading Across America Day March 2, 2022. For the past five years, we have had current and alumni players, legendary NFL athletes, coaches, owners, and cheerleaders reading to elementary school students coast to coast. This year, we will be hosting this event both virtually and in-person to give students a love of literacy with a passion for football. Together, we can tackle reading across America!

 

PICK A ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CLOSE TO WHERE YOU LIVE.

CALL THE SCHOOL INTRODUCE YOURSELF AS PART OF THE NFL ALUMNI – ARIZONA CHAPTER AND ASK FOR THE PRINCIPLE OR READING SPECIALIST. THEN EXPLAIN YOU WOULD LIKE TO VOLUNTEER TO SUPPORT “TACKLE READING” AND READ TO THE PRE-SCHOOLERS OR THE KINDER-GARDEN CLASS OFFICIALLY HAPPENING WEDNESDAY, MARCH 2nd 

Ask if you could get the Principle and or Reading Specialist email address, to send information and include that school on the “Tackle Reading” National Program
